The weekend’s back and it’s gonna be a scorcher so you might want to evaluate if spending time indoors is really for you!  Luckily, we’ve got tons of options to choose from!

With a new executive chef heading up this popular downtown French bistro, we can look forward to old favorites like mussels, french onion soup and steak tartar making a comeback – but if you’re up for an adventure order the crispy fried pigs ears.  And of course there is a cheese selection!

Let the Wild Rumpus Begin!  Maurice Sendak’s beloved children’s book is now a movie directed by Spike Jonze of Beastie Boy video fame.  Critics have called it a “surreal acid trip back to childhood” – this sounds like a great time to us at least, no?  Check out our review of Where The Wild Things Are if you need further convincing!

Besides for the tattoos and face masks, we all know the best part of basketball is the sweet shots our Lakers provide us each and every time they play.  To warm up for the new season (its almost here!), the boys are holding their annual shootout at the Staples Center this Saturday.

Los Angeles’s only winery, San Antonio, is hosting their final food and wine festival on Sunday October 18th from 2pm-5pm.  Even though its deep into downtown the drive is worth it – salud!
