Janet Jackson will take the stage this weekend at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards to pay tribute to her brother, the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

Janet has been spending up to 15-hour days in rehearsal preparing for the surprise performance that is sure to leave the audience moved.  She has 20 back-up dancers in tow and we can’t wait to see what they’ve come up with!  Let’s hope there are no nip-slips this time around though – remember her Superbowl peep show?  I’m thinking her tata’s will stay covered at the VMAs – a tribute performance honoring her late brother doesn’t seem like the time or place to have another “wardrobe malfunction,” you know?
