Kanye Interrupts Taylor Swift @ the VMAs

As the Olson twins would say, how rude!!! Kanye took it upon himself to interrupt Taylor Swift as she was accepting her VMA for Best Female Video for the song “You Belong With Me.” Kanye thought Beyonce should have won. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but you have to have some nerve to jump on stage and grab the mic from the actual winner to express it. He apologized on his website (”I’m in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment!!!”) but in my opinion, it was too little too late. Watch it happen here:
The VMAs were all a-Twitter during and after that moment:
- Katy Perry: “F— u Kanye. It’s like you stepped on a kitten.”
- P!NK: “Kanye West is the biggest piece of sh*t on earth – quote me. My heart goes out to Taylor Swift. She is a sweet and talented girl and deserved her moment.”
- Perez Hilton: “WTF Kanye???”
- Lo Bosworth: “We love Taylor Swift. Wow, Kanye – manners? My goodness.”
Beyonce invited Taylor up on stage when she won Video of the Year for “Single Ladies” so Taylor could finish her speech. How nice! Kanye should take note. It does appear that he feels pretty bad though. He wrote the following message today on his blog:
“I feel like Ben Stiller in “Meet the Parents” when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave… That was Taylor’s moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry.”

I know we’re all upset with his actions, but you have to see he’s evidently emotionally distress… Like he said he needs to take some time off. He never grieved his lost and pain which we are now seeing the results of it. He needs to embrace the pain for a while and see the positive that could come out of it. Stop jeopardizing your talent with your silly actions, Best luck Kanye.

What a moron, I can’t believe he interrupted Taylor Swift, right in the middle of her speech. I mean come on! What the hell do you think you are doing? You never ever do anything like that to anyone no matter what award show it is or what award is being presented. How would Kanye like it if someone did that to him during his acceptance speech? It was not his moment in any way shape or form to go up there and say the things he did. His actions have hurt his career and popularity. It does not matter what he thinks as to who should have won the award, it is none of his business anyway. Taylor Swift deserved that award above and beyond the call. She is just as talented as Beyonce. If I were the producer of this show, I would be extremely mad, would contact my lawyers, force Kanye to give an apology to everyone, especially Taylor. I bet she was devastated by this. You, Kanye, took that precious moment away from Ms. Swift and you had NO right! In addition, your actions effected the commercial sales because your outburst made the show appear to be out-of- control. Who wants to watch a show like that? I’ll bet the commercial sponsors are going to think twice before supporting the VMA Awards next time. I know I would.
