Is Chris Brown A “Changed Man?”
Posted by Sabrina C on Aug. 19, 2009 Posted under: Music, Relationships
After a flood of bad press it’s hard to get people to change their idea of who you are. Chris Brown’s attempting to do this in the best way he knows how. One of his unreleased recordings, “Changed Man,” mysteriously leaked to the internet recently, and it appears to be about issues he’s experienced in the last year surrounding his love life and career. The song is supposed to be on Brown’s up and coming album, “Graffiti,” but a rep from his label said it will not be the first single.

Chris’ rep went on to say that the song was recorded sometime ago, but they would not clarify if the song was recorded before or after the controversy surrounding Brown and Rihanna. The lyrics make it sound as though the song was written with the infamous incident that went down between the former lovers earlier this year in mind:
I’m a changed man,
because you mean that much to me,
And I don’t want to be done
I’m doing all that I can,
and everybody hates Chris
They can never understand.
More than sounding like a plea to regain his fans, it sounds like an attempt to make peace with Rihanna regardless of what the media and public thinks of him. This totally reeks of a perfectly orchestrated PR attempt to reach out to Chris’ old fans. Do you think the message of “Changed Man” is sincere or do you believe it’s just an attempt by Brown to get his career back on track? More importantly, do you think the song is about Rihanna, or is it just a coincidence? Let us know in the comments!

@TerryMena- Violence is never the right choice, no matter if you are slapped first. The best choice for any real man is to walk away from the situation. I’ve witnessed my own parents fight it out and my mom is also Bajan (from Barbados, like Rihanna) island women are fiery. My father would never lay a hand on her. Sure he would grab her hands and try to stop her from beating him but he was a real man and never physically hurt her so being slapped by a woman first is absolutely no excuse. As for the comment about Rihanna’s hair, she’s fly all the way around. Some of her fashion choices wouldn’t be my own but she’s not me just like she’s not you. If she wants to shave her head bald I’m sure she would find a way to rock that style and make it her own. She has the confidence to pull off anything. Go Rihanna! Chris Brown had a very unfortunate thing happen. He made a stupid life changing mistake. We’ve all made some pretty bad choices in life so who are we to judge. I am still a bit heart broken that things did not work out between them but everything happens for a reason and this too can be turned into a positive situation if lessons are learned. I wish little Chris the best in his life and career and hope he gets back on top of his game. But he should step away from the relationship thing for a while and focus on becoming the man he wants to be. Same goes for Rihanna. Just focus on self and the rest will fall into place.

like i said before… everyone deserves a second chance no matter what…we live our life in hatred, then we will be punished… live, laugh, learn. live it to the fullest, laugh about what is good in life and not judge anyone and learn from it all… have peace, our world is already corrupt..lol

I personally think that when a female hits a male, he has every right to slap the sh*t out of her. How does that make her any different? People should get treated equally. Chris Brown is hot. Rihanna is ugly anyway. I think Ciara is cute for him. Rihanna needs to work on that hair of hers. It’s not cute
