VH1 released a comprehensive report this weekend with more information on Michael Jackson’s death with statements from his personal doctor, the Los Angeles Police Department, the Coroner’s office and the Jackson family.
According to the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office, there was “no evidence of foul play or physical trauma” found in the autopsy of Michael Jackson’s body. However, cause of death is still unknown and will not be revealed until the results of a toxicology report come in, which could take up to six weeks. The report will reveal any prescription and/or other drugs in his body at his time of death.

Jackson’s personal doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray, was with Michael when he went into cardiac arrest. During his interview with the police, the doctor assured authorities that he did not give Michael drugs in the hours before his death.
Michael’s family has released a statement expressing both grief for Michael’s passing and thanks to his many fans and supporters around the world:
“We miss Michael endlessly, our pain cannot be described in words. But Michael would not want us to give up now. So we want to thank all of his faithful supporters and loyal fans worldwide, you who Michael loved so much. Please do not despair, because Michael will continue to live on in each and every one of you. Continue to spread his message, because that is what he would want you to do. Carry on, so his legacy will live forever.”
CNN has announced that Michael’s body will be available for public viewing at his Neverland Ranch this Friday, June 3rd. A private service will be held this Sunday at the ranch, but the service will not be the funeral. According to Joe Jackson, the funeral and burial service will not take place until a second autopsy has been performed on his son. No word on where Michael will be buried, but the mayor of Gary, Indiana, is asking that Michael be buried there since it is his hometown.
Plans for a commemorative tour are underway as well. Janet Jackson and the Jackson Brothers may be embarking on a tribute tour for Michael. If the tour happens, they may stop at some of the cities that were on Michael’s schedule for his upcoming 50-show run in London.
We wish the Jackson Family the best and will keep you posted on their Tribute Tour plans!
