Michael Jackson has Passed Away at 50

Posted by Sabrina C on Jun. 25, 2009 Posted under: Featured, Music, News & Gossip, Random

Michael JacksonThe King Of Pop was rushed by ambulance from his Holmby Hills home to the hospital after suffering a fatal heart attack.  TMZ reports say that paramedics performed CPR on Jackson while transporting him to the hospital.  When they arrived, Jackson had no pulse and was never able to reestablish a pulse.

The pop icon was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital in a deep coma.  He was 50 years old and is survived by his three children:  Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II.

The American recording artist was widely known for his music career that expanded four decades. Jackson began his career at 11 as a member of the Jackson 5. He began his solo career in 1971 while still a member of his family’s band. He’s been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame twice, received 13 Grammy Awards, as well as 13 number one singles in his solo career.  Rest in peace Michael, you will be missed.

CNN has announced that Michael’s body will be available for public viewing at his Neverland Ranch this Friday, June 3rd.  A private service will be held this Sunday at the ranch, but the service will not be the funeral.  According to Joe Jackson, the funeral and burial service will not take place until a second autopsy has been performed on his son.  No word on where Michael will  be buried, but the mayor of Gary, Indiana, is asking that Michael be buried there since it is his hometown.

The announcement of MJ’s death came from out of nowhere. He’s was very talented and has shaped the model to what a showman truly is. He had a lot legal trauma and I know that he was hurting. Media outlets and fans who turned their backs on him put a lot of stress on him. Now those same individuals who tore him down to nothing are now trying to get ratings off MJ. So to all you hipocrites who are giving him the love he needed when he was in trouble and now that he’s gone, where were you when he really needed you???????

R.I.P MJ and my condolences to his family.
