97.1 AMP RADIO is now accepting resumes for summer internships! Are you a current full-time college student, looking to gain college credit? If your idea of work is attending concerts and other events across the Los Angeles area, then this is the job for you!

PROGRAMMING/PRODUCTION: Assist Program director and staff with board operation, taking phone requests and general administrative support. Students will learn the dub and digital editing process of commercials. Students may also be asked to produce commercials.
SALES: Students would primarily learn phone etiquette, presentation skills, writing and production of radio commercials, qualitative as well as the quantitative computer software that applies to media sales. Students will also learn how to and the importance of interaction between advertisers and the radio station. Some light filing and typing will also be required.

AMP gives you a chance to learn the inner workings of a large market radio station, providing exposure to promotions, programming and sales. We’re looking for enthusiastic, outgoing and hard-working students who enjoy music and are good at interacting with all kinds of people.

PROMOTIONS: Students will assist in the creation and coordination of marketing and promotional activities. Also, students will assist in all aspect of ampradio.com, including blogging, tweeting, and general website maintenance. Must be creative, organized and be detail oriented. Must be able to work with others in a fast-paced environment. Must be a problem solver, dependable, hard working, and creative. Hours include evenings and weekends. Interns must maintain flexible availability. Students must have a valid driver’s license and insurance. This position reports directly to the Promotion Director and is a part-time position for College credit (if applicable).

AMP Promotions Interns work 15-25 hours per week and must be available nights and weekends. We require all applicants to be current, full-time college students and you must receive college credit for this position.5901 Venice Blvd.
