Cinco de Mayo is truly a warmer day of celebrating for everyone. You get to spend all day eating Tacos and drinking. Where is might get tricky though, is what to drink during your Cinco de Mayo celebration. Below are the best drinks that accompany the celebration of Mexico’s independence.
Pacifico – Pacifico is possibly the greatest Mexican import beer. It is much smoother than the rest and has a great taste. Don’t go gringo and get caught holding a Corona in your hand.
Cadillac Margarita – Sure you are going to pay a bit more for the high priced top shelf booze, but a less painful hangover in the morning will be worth the money. Put some Patron in there. You will thank me later.
Tequila Sunrise – This drink is like a Shirley Temple’s hot Latina cousin. Take some tequila, mix in some orange juice, and ad a dash of grenadine. All three should mix together perfectly for a smooth great tasting drink.
Toronha – A Toronha is a nice frozen cocktail to start your day off with. It has a blend or grapefruit, pomegranate and orange.
Tequila Shots – If mixing fancy drinks just isn’t your style, there is nothing work with a shot of the good stuff. Like I said before though, keep it classy. Don’t waste your time on a cheap tequila. Get a shot of Don Julio, Cabo Wabo, or a Patron Silver.
